Power Players for Bangalore vs Rajasthan Match

Jos Buttler’s current form cannot be glorified in mere words. He has scored three hundreds in seven games – two of which came in the last two matches. In other four contests, he has scores of 35, 70*, 13, and 54. Note that the unbeaten 70 came against Bangalore earlier in the competition. For all the right reasons and outstanding stats, Buttler will be the most picked captain in fantasy cricket.

Dinesh Karthik won the Player of the Match award when these teams met earlier in this season. He scored 44 off 23, lifting Bangalore from 87 for 5 to a successful chase of 173 for 6. The interesting fact is that he has been dismissed only twice in 8 games.

With 18 wickets in 7 matches, Yuzvendra Chahal is the highest wicket-taker of the season. At Pune, he has managed 3 for 22. The key to his success has been the ability to toss the ball up even at a crucial juncture.

Smart Picks for Bangalore vs Rajasthan Match

Faf du Plessis has gone either big or nothing. His highest scores are 88 and 96, and in the remaining six matches, he has managed only 42 runs.

Sanju Samson’s highest score of the season – 55 against Hyderabad – came at the very venue. Although he has not scored big consistently, he has been doing his job of scaling up the run rate rather well. His performance may get compromised in the process, but a total of 201 runs at 34 is fair for his particular brand of cricket.

Shimron Hetmyer walks in, attacks, and makes the fantasy cricket fans happy. Remaining unbeaten in four of six innings has shot up his average to 75.

Devdutt Padikkal has converted his four of six starts into an effective innings. He has three scores in excess of 30 runs – one of which came at Pune.

Shahbaz Ahmed has been gaining popularity in fantasy sports. He has only one single-digit score in six innings, and bulk of his runs have come when his team was in trouble. Overall, he has managed 178 runs with an impressive strike rate of 139.

Wanindu Hasaranga’s 11 wickets are the most for his team, despite being underused in the last two games. The relatively bigger boundaries in Pune is likely to keep him interested.

Harshal Patel has not been able to put up an encore of his 2021 performance and yet has been a smart pick for fantasy players. The strike bowler has grabbed 9 wickets in 7 games.
