Power Players

With 203 runs at a superior average of 101, Dawid Malan is the highest run-scorer of the season. He has provided bonus fantasy points for his strike rate of 200 and hitting 13 sixes. To dominate from the offset has been the key to his success.

Will Jacks became only the second player to score a hundred in the league. His 108-run knock was laced with ten fours and eight sixes, achieving it at a strike rate of 225 during a run chase. This, however, came after a scintillating 81 against Welsh. Talk about consistency.

Daniel Sams has been a Power Player in three of four games on My11Circle. He has racked up two three-fors and smashed an unbeaten 55. His fantasy selection percentage has been above 80% in this edition.

Sunil Narine has grabbed two three-fors and a two-for thus, sitting comfortably at the second spot in the wickets column. The pitches this summer have been kind to the spinners.

Alex Hales has a thirty, a forty, and a fifty in four innings. His batting has been the right combination of responsibility and aggression. After all, he is a veteran of over 350 T20s, knowing when to attack or play a sheet anchor in shorter formats.

Smart Picks

Not once has Sam Curran disappointed the fantasy players. He has taken a wicket in each game and scored 105 runs (the second-most for Oval) at a strike rate of 130.

Luke Wood has been impressive with the new ball. Not only does he bowl at a fiery pace but also isn’t afraid to bowl attacking lines. Two of his three wickets in the last game were clean-bowled and one was a plumb lbw.

Operating in the middle overs for Trent is Samit Patel. The warhorse spinner has taken five wickets and maintained an economy of under 8 RPO. He fools the batters by mixing up his pace.

Reece Topley is yet to go wicketless, taking 1 for 26, 1 for 38, and 3 for 24. He has been on a roll ever since the white-ball series against India.

Oval, overall, have not put up a collective performance with the bat yet. The out-of-form Jason Roy has been struggling and the in-form Rilee Rossouw is yet to get going. The experienced lads will have to up the ante before the pressure gets the better of other batters.
