Power Players for the Match

In his last 36 innings as an opener, Shai Hope has scored 9 hundreds and 10 fifties. After his match-winning hundred in the series opener, he scored 18 runs, before a brilliant delivery from Bas de Leede nipped back sharply and dismantled his defence.

The ever-improving Brandon King has scores of 58* and 91*. He batted with intent and conviction in both innings. In the warm-up game ahead of the series, he had smashed 119*. He is yet to be dismissed on the tour.

Akeal Hosein registered his maiden four-wicket haul in the format. It was his spell in the middle overs that reduced Netherlands from 115 for 1 to 180 for 6. He deceived the batters with a change in pace, as a result of which two of his four wickets were clean bowled.

Smart Picks for the Match

Vikramjit Singh, Netherland’s emerging batter, fell just short of fifty in both ODIs. He was undone by spin on both occasions, managing 47 and 46. More importantly, he looked to launch a counterattack right at the start of the innings, pushing the visitors on the back foot.

His opening partner Max O’Dowd has not been any less. He tries to hold one end and keep the scoreboard ticking. He has scores of 39 and 51.

Shamarh Brooks has the highest scores of 93, 63, 44, and 44 in his short 8-match ODI career. He starts his innings carefully and ups the ante once he finds his feet.

Teja Nidamanuru likes to fight tooth and nail down the order. His ability to use the long handle to destructive effect makes him a hot pick in fantasy cricket.

Had it not been for Scott Edward’s persistent knock of 68 off 89, Netherlands would have been bundled out below 180 in the second game. Overall, he has managed five fifties in 18 ODIs.

Keacy Carty was a surprise package in fantasy leagues. After his unbeaten 43, his player selection percentage has shot up on My11Circle. The highlight of this knock was smart shot selection under pressure.

Bas de Leede may not have been effective with the bat in the middle order, but his medium pace rocked the West Indies top order in the previous game, dismissing Hope and Nkrumah Bonner.

Kyle Mayers has provided 52 fantasy points with his dual skills. He has the highest score of 22 and the best bowling figures of 2 for 50.
