Fantasy Tips of The Day

While Adelaide have a few proven match-winners, Brisbane are blessed with better balance and variety.

Brisbane’s fire-power down the order is likely to make a substantial difference in fantasy leagues.

Smart Picks

In a span of only 13 balls in the Eliminator, Laura Harris generously provided 10 bonus points for slamming 9 boundaries at a strike rate of over 300. Talk about being an impact player on the big stage!

With consecutive half-centuries, including one against Adelaide, Danielle Wyatt seems to be peaking at the right time ahead of the final. For her heroics at the top, she has generated 66.5 points in her last two outings.

For her match-winning spell of 4-0-23-4 against Hobart, Jess Jonassen was the captain of the Ultimate Team. Given her consistency with the ball, her selection percentage hasn’t dropped below 86 in this edition.

Owing to her regular contributions with both bat and ball, Amelia Kerr has been a part of the Ultimate Team for three games on the bounce. Incidentally, her best bowling figures of the season (3 for 17) came against Adelaide.

Fantasy players will keep a keen watch on Megan Schutt, who picked a six-for in her last league game. She also bagged a three-for when she last bowled against Brisbane.

Tahlia McGrath hasn’t quite lived up to her reputation but for her blazing knock of 93* against Hobart last week. That said, she has all the experience and class to steal the show when it matters.

Brisbane will be wary of Laura Wolvaardt, who registered scores of 46 and 45 in her last two innings against them. She also blasted a 56-ball 75 in her last league match against Sydney.

Although Deandra Dottin hasn’t set the stage on fire, she has kept fantasy players happy through steady performances. Besides adding 43 runs, she has picked 3 wickets in her last 2 games.
