The 15th Edition of the Asia Cup is all set to start on August 27 in the UAE. The hosts Sri Lanka will play the opening match against Afghanistan, and the final will be played on September 11.

Asia Cup Venue
Asia Cup 2022 will be held in the UAE, at two venues: Dubai Internation Stadium and Sharjah International Stadium. All matches will start at 7:30 PM IST
Asia Cup Teams:
Hong Kong, Kuwait, Singapore, and the UAE will play Qualifiers. The winner of the qualifiers will join India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh in the main tournament.

Tournament format:
- The main tournament will have six teams divided into two groups.
- India, Pakistan, and one of the qualified teams are part of Group A. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan form Group B.
- Each team will play within the group once.
- The top two teams of the group qualify for the Super 4 round, where they play against each other.
- The top two would play in the finals.
